Background
I enjoy the experience of teaching both one to one and in groups. I have experience teaching children, young people and adults across the whole ability range. Electric Bass is my first instrument to which I plays at an advanced level past grade 8. I also play the guitar, ukulele and piano to a good standard along with experience in music technology. I frequently perform and and teach many styles of music including rock, pop, jazz, folk and various world music’s. I possess personal creativity and the ability to inspire.
I have knowledge of the Rockschool, Trinity College of London Grades and the Thames Valley University Popular Theory Grades of which I use upon request. Being a signatory of the music manifesto, I advocates widespread access to music education. I am genuinely interested in nurturing musical talent and creativity.
Being an enthusiastic musician with a commitment to music, I pride myself on having good communication, organisational and leadership skills, reliability and punctuality. I obtain a valid CRB form available upon request.

Private Tuition
Understanding that everybody learns differently, I aim to find the best approach for each individual student. Although I have template lesson plans prepared, I work with my students students to develop their own personal goals, so I can focus on helping them achieve these. I have a dedicated music room in my flat in London SE20, which is fully equipped for teaching both individuals and groups. Facilities here include bass and guitar amps, keyboard with amp, drum kit and audio play back facilities. I have spare bass guitars, acoustic and electric guitars should a student need use of one in the lesson. My private tuition rate is £35 per hour from my flat or £40 for a home visit.
